My dad carried this coin around for some time before he passed, hoping that some one could tell him where it was from Never happened! I've had it for a while now and occasionally spend some time online trying to find it. Hopefully now, some one on this forum can lay the puzzle to rest! Thanks...

It is even a silver coin with fineness 0.600.
As it weighs 6 grams, it contains 3.6 grams of silver.

Morocco!! WOW!! I don't remember seeing any Moroccan coins when I searched before. Now I wonder where my Dad came up with this coin because he rarely left Montana, USA his entire life. Thank you all. I'm happy to now be a member of this forum and will visit often. sdpops

Maybe he got it from someone ran across in his day to day business.

If he never left MT it just adds to the mystery and history of the coin.

Own it in good health and keep it in your pocket in his memory.
