Here is another pair of Chinese somethings that have come my way. The size of them seems to rule out the possibility of currency so a charm or token of some sort perhaps ? The large one has a diameter of 55mm and weighs approx 66g, the smaller is 45mm and 22g
Any ideas welcome.
Many thanks
Brian.

Left coin looks like 50 cash

Dynasty: Ch'ing (1644 - 1911 a.d.)
Emperor: Wen Tsung (1851-1861 a.d.)
Reign Title: Hsien Feng (1851-1861 a.d.)

This is the first Emperor of the Ch'ing Dynasty to issue Multiple-Cash coins. These are bigger than the standard cash coin and have an additional two characters on the reverse.

The one on the right is a charm, specifically a "zodiac / eight trigrams" charm. See this zeno.ru page for numerous examples.

The one on the left has the correct design of the 50 cash coin, but may nevertheless be a replica. Krause lists two distinct size ranges for this coin, "large" (54-58mm, KM/C# 1-7) and "small" (40-48mm, KM/C# 1-7.1), the larger being the slightly older and more valuable of the two.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
