I bought this a while ago in an ICG slab and cracked it out for my 7070. Now, I'm re-slabbing some of the best from my old 7070 for a smaller, slabbed type set, so this one went in to NGC.
What do you think NGC gave it? And did ICG grade higher, lower, or the same?
oih82w8, I use the GraphicConvertor program, which includes a circular crop tool. It's a little fiddly to position and size, but looks so nice when I get it right!

Anyways, I really enjoyed the diversity of opinions about both the grade *and* the grading services. Lowest grade was AU58, highest MS64, and there were even suggestions of a details grade. Most folks predicted ICG graded higher than NGC, but a few went the other way.
If you saw this coin in hand, you would note the booming luster, and probably predict a mint state grade (as did I when I bought it). There are a couple tiny luster breaks obverse, and the dark toning spot reverse, but otherwise impressively clean of wear, marks, and ticks.
ICG had it graded MS-64, but I'm happy because I bought it for under the NGC grade of...
