OK, I admit it, I've loved this coin from the moment I received it. I bought it in a PCGS slab, and cracked it for my 7070. But I've always had the sneaking suspicion that it was undergraded. So I recently sent it in to NGC with a batch of other coins. Denied! NGC agreed with PCGS. Care to grade it yourself? Between you guys and two separate grading services, I may finally come to terms with it! ;-)

MS63 and a pretty nice one too!
I am thinking that there are too many marks on the cheek to go higher.
Kinda looks like it has a bead-blasted, satin-like fields.

MS-62. hard to tell how the luster is from the photo. A few light rim abrasions on reverse, satiny grainy fields....hmmm still nice though.

i know nothing about these coins but I'm going to take a blind leap here and say AU58 there's some surface issues happening that I believe held it back the population of MS dollars is so overwhelming in the marketplace that I just think they did not feel this one made the grade

I think it is a MS-64. The coin appears to have been struck from worn dies.

MS65 I could see a 64 but I doubt it, I think what look like tiny tics are not the scuffs are luster breaks from the frost on this gem coin. I see only 2 makrs one on the nose and one on the hair behind the ear, both go vertical. not too distracting so I think MS65.

Looks like a strong MS64 in the images. MS65 on some days. My guess is NGC put is in a MS65 holder.
