Hey guys,
I remember hearing about a couple glueing 'pennies' all over the bar establishment they owned. It is said that 1 million pennies are glued on the floors, walls,...well, let me put it this way ALL OVER! I couldn't remember where this was so I did a search. It's in California. It's up for sale, too.
Who lives in Cali? Have you seen the place? See any 1909S VDB's?
Boy, would love to get ahold of those pennies !

Here's the story:

That is both amazing and sad.

quote:
"the bar's prize possession, an 1883 Indian Head penny. The oldest of the lot......I didn't even know it was there until a customer pointed it out to me one day," Mr. Moore said. "After a while, a penny is a penny."

Regardless of the obverse looks, imagine what the glue did to the reverses.
