Picked up some half dollars, this was the best of the lot. nice, but a little rim abrasion on reverse.A lot of luster in hand.
Your opinions as to grade and does this make FBL? This is not my area of expertise. Your opinions are always appreciated!

In my humble opinion, because of the three bag marks on Ben's cheek, a primary focal area, you have a MS64 coin.
Depending on which school of thought you use on FBLs, you might have one. If you go by Lawrence's book and NGC guidance, no. I don't believe it to be an FBL because of the following: the top left lines turn soft as they near the edge of the bell, there is one deep bag mark intersecting 2 of the bottom lines near the clapper, and the lines appear to get soft in the area of the clapper to the right of the bag mark. It might be the photo though. Every time I tried to enlage the photo the area got more blurry.

Thanks for the observations carmykle, I tried some other shots of the coin but it just loses focus on the bell lines with the lighting.
I agree with your assessment. thanks, RK

I would agree that it's close to FBL, but not quite there. MS 63-64 due to the few marks on Ben.

Aside from the full bell lines, looks like it could be a type (1) 56, look at the eagle. Rare coin.
