Why did you get a replacement roll? Damage? Or did they only include 49 pennies?

Several people have gotten them. I wonder if there is another 02419/20000 out there?
Maybe the Mint oversold the rolls and just started sending out duplicates, lol

I wonder why they needed to send out so many replacement rolls. These were packed very well for shipping.

They had issues with holograms falling off, maybe some got lost/damaged before their innovative fix. (Piece of tape).

I gotcha....both of mine has scotch tape around the hologram?! Kinda Mickey Mouse, but it shouldn't fall off now!

Wonder how much they are worth. Someone is selling on E-bay asking $1000 or best offer.

As I heard, at least 2 CCF members received the Roll with "R" sign (Replaced). What I can assume: You probably saw on ebay rolls with double sticker on it, or with the sign of the second sticker, that was removed. So the "R"-COA will be put on the roll that never came out (only it's sticker). They didn't replace rolls (IMO), just a sticker. If machine, that put stickers on the rolls, put 2 stickers on one roll, so at the end of the production they will have "clean" rolls with no COA (their COA was put on other roll), so for these non-serialyzed rolls they produced new, R-COA.

Did they replace them with the same coins? Or did they make some more "last million" pennies?

I'm guessing that like banknotes, when a sticker or COA is damaged they print off replacements and mark them as such to insure a way of detecting if there is any funny business with the original.
Interestingly, the style is completely different.
Original would be: 2,419/20,000 (thousand comma, with no zero prefix) Replacement: 02419R/20,000 (no comma, zero prefixed)

For banknotes these are a desirable attribute. We are so far down the rabbit hole on these stickers that anything is now possible out of the market.

Do we know how many replacement rolls were sent out? The only ones I've seen posted anywhere are all in the same number range (most if not all 24xx).
