Quote: Almost forgot to mention, I found a dime and a whole roll of nickels. Nickels in the penny rolls? Cool. I have found a dime in a nickel roll, and nickels in quarter rolls.

The nickels were in a white paper wrapped roll. I've had rolls of dimes and nickels that ended up in small cent boxes when the customer created their own roll and didn't label it. The last bag of cents I picked up was about $5 dollars under. Some bags are over, I think it probably evens out in the long run.

I recently found a well tarnished 1966 dime in a roll of pennies I laughed when I tapped my magnet and it did not stick. (I have found a few dimes inside rolls of pennies, this was my first silver one)
That's probably my cheapest silver purchase ever.

Quote: Interesting stuff , what condition was it in ? Still has quite a bit of mint lustre but there is a green spot about 3mm round on the reverse that ruins it.

Picked up 32 rolls of pennies at the bank today with older Canadian finds being: 1941, 1942, 1947, an 1955(2). Also found 3 wheat cents, a 1973 UK New Penny, and a dime.

Picked up 46 rolls of pennies at one of the banks yesterday. Older Canadian finds were: 1940, 1941(2), 1950, 1951, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957(2), 1958, 1959(2). Found a MS 1964 Canadian, a MS 1999 UK new penny (which turns out to be a hole filler), and 3 wheat cents.
A lot of the rolls were mini time capsules from the early to late 1990's. I could tell based on the condition and dates found. Which meant I found a lot of nice coins from the 80's and 90's which I tend to keep up to 1996.

If you know where to look.... I just picked up 30 rolls today (sunday) and on Saturday, I picked up 4 bags ($25 each) and 2 and a half boxes, so over $150 worth just on Saturday. in the past 4 months or so, I have actually seen an increase of how many pennies I can get. I have about 18 boxes waiting for me to search.
Right now I go through them when I can, but buying all I can so that when my sources dry up, I will have gotten as much as possible.
