Someone either paid $190 for an ounce of gold or they paid $190 for and ounce of gold plated (worn off)copper' I am guessing the latter is the case

If the seller knowingly sales a fake ounce of gold and not spell it out, he broke all the rules on ebay.

And now the final price was changed to $1615 14 days after end of sale date. I just noticed, depending on what you click the price toggles from $190 to $1615... weird It looks like a "buy it now" with "make offer" Seller was asking $1690 and accepted $1615

I guess the sold price was a typo.

It doesn't add up. The seller sold the coin at $190 initially and then the same exact coin with the same exact pictures for Best price (List price $1690) to the same buyer. And the buyer left feedback for both the items. Something missing?

Yeah that's a wee bit wEiRd... However, the price discrepancy is due to the fact that he sold *two* of them with the same image. (item #'s 111035913938=B/O<$1,690.00 & 400435692035=$190.00) Either one buyer got *really* lucky, or both buyers were *horridly* swindled (one more disproportionately than the other). And aye, that looks like copper showing to me. :-)

Both were bought by the same buyer. What are the odds!
