Im wanting a proof silver eagle in a PCGS holder and I'm wondering if holding off and letting the silver price lower will drop the price of these?

Im also thinking of trying to get one of those special 2013 multi-finish eagles. Will they be dropped in price too, or will they hold their premium?

No , numismatic products do not fluctuate with the price of silver, just bullion.
Unless the drop in price is very dramatic.

Ben-

They can, but it will pale in comparison to the drop in other bullion coins as Denco points out and I agree with him, unless we get a huge blow out, those prices will be stubborn in going down.

That said I have a few thoughts-

Proofs and those sets from the US Mint with the new finish, those are an excellent choice to add to your collection.... I cant wait for the new set with that new finish and I LOVE the US Eagle proofs! In fact my first choice for buying silver and gold is to always purchase proof coins over any other finish.

The other thought is now is the time to get those Kooks, Pandas, Brits, Libertads, etc.. the world silver coins that carry a prem on them... even consider the Canada Wildlife series, such as the recently released Wood Bison.

For the most part if you wait a few months after release the market has been set for the non 70 eagles. The new ones will more than likely go up after the initial offerings for the 70s at least like what has happened with the reverse proof sets.

As far as where to find them over there I dont have the slightest clue and would guess ebay is your best bet.

silvertowne.com and moderncoinmart.com are too good websites that have slabbed coins and seem to have the best prices

for the graded ones, look for goldmart, silvertowne and modern coin mart,,, which is also on ebay, those three should give you a fair price.

Scottsdale silver and AMPEX are also good places to buy silver, and both are on ebay.
