This note was amongst a collection of a Stamps/Coins/Notes I purchased at auction and had a value of $25 written on its holder.I was just wondering why?,its in close to Unc. condition but is there some other feature that makes it worth more than $5 ?. It has green numbers but I thought that was fairly common.TIA to the brains trust.

This looks to be a Frasier Cole note.
I can't make out the serial number, all I can see is the AB prefix.
Is it AB19

What you have is a "General Prefix " 1992 Note.
There are 2 types
1= dark green serial numbers aUNC = $25 (McDonalds 2013)
2= light Green serial numbers aunc= $55 (McDonalds 2013)
Hope this helps

If the serial was AB19 you would be looking at a $1500 note

Basil,

Based on ebay prices over the last few months probably has a sale value of around $10 or slightly more (somebody did manage to sell one But_It_Now recently for near CV).
