Happens every year. The new coins start appearing in change and everyone trys to grab them. I'm still not finding a lot of the 2011 Cents.

Suddenly every time I search a box, I am finding 2012 Philly cents in there. I am in Denver Mint country and rarely see anything Philly here, no matter how old the coins are. Kind of odd to find so many P-mint cents.

Being in Denver, I'm totally lost in Denver country. Almost all of my change is Denver and when I do get Philly stuff, it's pretty worthless. It's kinda funny because my State Quarter collection has some great shiny Denver pieces with the dirty dull Philly row right above them. |

Yesterday I got my first 2013 pennies in change, all shiny and new, P mint.

I went ahead and sunk a $ on ebay to get a P and D for my folder. I'm not patient enough to look for them. |

I was able to get a roll of new 2013-P cents from my local Wal-mart yesterday. Cashier was kind enough to let me by one from him. I'm in the Florida panhandle. I guess they are in the area now. |

I found a couple of 2013's in the middle of a box of miscelleneous rust. They were not marked up at all so I'm saving them to go with the rest of them that I hope I'll get pretty soon. Just 4 out of 2,500. There were a few keepers in the box but I hope for a lot more.
I still don't have a full roll of 2012-d yet at all. So I the 2013's are in indicative of what I found in 2012, I won't have a roll of 2013-d's until maybe opening day of the 2014 season or more like likely the all star break.

I go through 20 rolls of pennies and 30to40 rolls of nickels a day and haven't found one 2013 coin.

I have 10 to 13 spare bank rolls of 2013-d cents if anyone wants to trade. I have over 50 posts now so I'm good right? Shoot, I'd be willing to ask my banks if they have more if anyone is really interested!

Oddly enough - I was in the local Walmart on Tuesday and there was a penny on the floor... so I picked it and the dime next to it up and found a nice new 2013 D penny. The 1st one I've seen this year. |

During my one week holiday in New York this february, I got the following Pennys
2011-D: 7
2011-P: 4
2012-D: 5
2012-P: 6
2013-D: 3
2013-P: 4
Most of these I put back to circulation
