It is die damage on a RPM. I don't see a listing for this one yet on coppercoins.com
Maybe a new listing to add?

I could not find it on Wexler's site but I believe that he lists the more popular ones "Best Of" not every example is listed. Very nice reference site as you probably already know.

The location id different than the 3,6,24 listings on CONECA disk. Not a match with know dies yet. Maybe a new listing. He posted it on " Lincoln Cent Resource."

I saw this at LCR yesterday. I don't think it is listed on CC or CONECA. It's close to RPM (CONECA numbers) 006 and 024 or CC's 1MM-006 or 1MM-023, but I believe there are numerous similar RPMs that are not listed. Maybe email Bob Piazza and see if he wants to see it.

Way too far south to be the #2 on CC. Jay look at the photo with the mint mark and date provided by the person that started this thread. Now look at the same photo on CC. Look how the D looks tucked up in between the 9 & 5 on the coin on CC. The posters photo shows the D further away from the date. In identifying RPMs, the mint mark location is a huge way of telling which one you have. It must match exactly. RPMs are just like retail..Location, Location, Location.

Ok all, Bob Piazza from Coppercoins emailed me the results: 1952D: This is a new listing for the files. I have assigned it number 1952D-1MM-031 and added it to the site. Congratulations on the new addition to the coppercoins files. You can see your new addition at this link: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsIn the WAM club but even more excited to be in the discovery club!
