ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 04/03/2013 12:57 am I just love this 1974-D Eisenhower dollar from a mixed lot on ebay...nice blue toning, and stunning die polish lines on a early strike, with super-crisp details...sometimes I wonder if the proof dies were recycled to make business strikes as this, as the "look" is proof-like..or, in reverse, proof planchets used on business strikes, as on some 1971-D issues. Proof planchets, on the other hand, I can imagine.
