found this on ebay hidden away in the mexico 1905-present section,

I'm not all that into errors but had to snap it up. I don't have an 1896 yet so will likely keep it unless I can sell/trade and fill several holes in my vicky cents pages.

REV photo is pretty fuzzy, but grade appears comparable to OBV. i'll update once I have it in hand.

opinions on grade and error (lamination?) greatly appreciated. and of course, "what's it worth?". also, not sure about the G in "regina", looks a little off but it might be corrosion?

Lamination , it looks like to me.
I see some sort of cavity at the rim, with a laminate plate over the denticles -- this triangular plate was separated and lost, leaving indistinct denticle remains.
The strike formation of the I in solid matrix just slightly engaged the lamination cavity enough to lift another plate ---but has not been lost.
That is my theory and I own it.(until better evidence arrives)
