The face value is worth more, most collectors do not even talk about these types of common issues with the coins, much less go out of their way to comment about them, they feel that it is a waste of their time to even confirm common issues like these. I don't mind taking a look at any Jefferson. They are all beautiful in one way or another. I would trade you a quarter for it in a heartbeat!

Looks more like a die gouge. A crack would be more crisp if it were that wide. But still not a premium. Sorry

Not all cracks have the characteristic sharpness, especially when they're this small. It could be a die gouge, but I think the placement of it would suggest it being a die crack.
