This is what is known as a Maria Theresa Thaler. They have been made by the millions over the years, but always retaining the 1780 date. I know little about these, but I'm sure somebody will be along to tell you much more. I do know that there are little subtle differences in the design that can give an indication of what time period it was produced. Don't want to say any more because like I said my knowledge of these is limited.

Please post better pictures including some of the edge markings, particularly the Arabesque ( feather/fern like decoration with a circle at one end). Then we can perhaps identify the mint and period of striking. From what I can see your coin looks like it is a 20th century restrike, the coin is still genuine but has been struck long after the date it bears. It contains 3/4 troy oz of pure silver and is worth the bullion value
