So that's the series end. Alaska is very nice and so is Hawaii.

Sadly, it doesn't seem they put a great deal into the New Mexico design.

The Alaska design is nice, but how they eschewed the Polar Bear and "Land of the Midnight Sun" is absolutely beyond me!

Alaska is great.

New Mexico isn't.

And, I thought I heard that the Hawaii coin was going to be re-thought because of an objection as to a "king" being portrayed.

Hey guys,
There's also a section on the Pres $. All shown are show are 'frontal' images and some with profile. The only one with 'looking' down is Kennedy.
I really hope who ever designs this one doesn't create a bowed head Kennedy..

Mostly serious looking faces, from the men who took the job seriously. Have a look and see if you can spot the odd ones out. LOL.

It will be strange to have two Grover Cleveland designs in the same year. I'd hope they choose a different portrait for the second coin.

There is a distinct styllistic change towards the end: from Presidential portrait to press photo. I assume that is what you are referring to.

I have to agree with everyone, Alaska is the best. I like the Hawaii design, but I expected a scenic background, not the islands.

Alaska leaves me cold, and I'll probably have to warm up to Hawaii. Arizona seems to have a grand idea though...

New Mexico's is profoundly lame. I like the Hawaiian design quite a bit. Arizona's seems a bit busy to me.
