What are the thoughts on the above software, for starting to inventory and grade coins? Would like to get one that works and not have to change and redo everything in the future. Since I'm starting out with the coins and no preconceived ideas on what is needed. Looking for users opinions.

I personally endorse the idea. I use coin manage, but am seriously considering using pro coin. I find it indispensable as far as knowing what I have, where it is and what collection I put it in. As far as the cost, it has more than paid for itself by easing my mental strain and eliminating double buying. It maximizes my budget by automatically linking to the coin in question online and providing the tools to locate the cheapest coins available.

Along with the CCF toolbar utilities, they have combined to bring the fun back in collecting coins for me.
