Howdy CCF Family...

Just a note if you are looking for good prices on coin tubes, I recently paid 35.95 + 8.47 shipping for a box including 50 square half dollar tubes and 50 square quarter tubes. This was better than any other ebay (or otherwise) price I could find.

The half dollar tubes hold a little more than a roll, and are sturdy when I compare them with examples of other brands I own.

My local coin shop - a friend and someone I trust implicitly - could not come close to this price.

The seller, Al, does business through this email address and also has an ebay store. He is hoping to get his own website up over the summer.

44¢ each. Good price. My LCS gets 60¢ each in smaller quantities. I am curious tho about the tubes holding more than a roll. Would this allow the coins to move and also cause a buyer to wonder if a full roll is there?

@denco
Caught me on that one!

@HaroldS
Yes, my LCS said he can only get them at the same price. I gurss Al must buy them in major amounts to get this kind of pricing.

I will be a repeat customer.

I advise also looking for used tubes at your local coin shop if you want a deal. My local shop has a big bin of used tubes and holders, with tubes separated into sandwich baggies of 5 each of the same denomination, and they sell the bags for $1 each. Last time I was in a bought 5 cent tubes and 5 nickel tubes, and they looked completely new other than circular sticker on the end of each of them which was easily removable.
