I'm having problems with the new layout changes. Text from my search terms has dropped so it's over the first search result, the photos are too large to view easily and the price range for my search results has defaulted to £52-£618 which is not much use to me.

Anyone know what's going on? Because really, unless I can do a proper search for items I want, the site is pretty much useless...

Edit. It's actually ebay. co. uk that I'm having problems with. And that's what I typed in the thread title, but it appears the CCF genie has .. corrected my entry for me!

Could an admin look into that as I didn't actually want it 'corrected', thanks!

My problem with the site it's getting way too expensive to do business on there anymore. Just took a peek at my statement and the fees are about 15% higher than they were two years ago with the same dollars sold.

Thank you whoever corrected my thread title!!
As for fees, well, I guess ebay is still mostly cheaper for sellers than traditional auction houses (in the UK at least) and certainly for buyers.

Of course, cheapness is not much compensation if your potential customers can't search for your items ...

I seem to remember that the 'new' look was trialled a year or more ago and disappeared following a barage of complaints on the Discussion Boards.

However it was obviously what ebay wanted and so now it is back. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work properly and some of the most useful functions such as wildcard filters have been removed.

Another example of a company that doesn't seem to listen to what its users want or value it seems. Bit like Myspace and Yahoo! Answers ...
