7 ) 1914-S (4,137,000) I came across a 1914-S that was in XF condition six to seven years ago. It was actually on the end of a roll of pennies I came across from work when we opened a box. I just took the roll but I think I should have gone through that whole box to see what other goodies could have been inside.

I found a roll of BU 1909 S-VDBs once but I didn't want those, since I was looking for 2013 cents. Just kidding. Hard to even joke about that. The lowest I have found straight up from rolls or boxes is a 1912-S. Just decided to buy a box on a whim and searched it. It's still in my main Lincoln Cent collection until I get a better one (if I do). Also found a bunch of 1982 small dates and a really nice looking 1960 small date, all from the same box.

My oldest was a 1911 that was so worn you could just barely read the date. My buddy is holding onto pennies he's found at work for my son and three days ago he comes over and tosses him a 1919s in Good that a customer left in change.

I can't break your top 20, however, my lowest-mintage Wheat cent find is a 1927 (144,440,000). It's in decent shape (VF+) and found it in a customer wrapped roll from the bank.

18 of the 20. No #1 or #3. That was 50+ years back when I would go through $25 in rolls every week for at least 5 years. Doing the math that was over 600K cents. Maybe that's why my eyes are in the condition they are.

Hi, Jeffrose:
Impressive!
Did you also try to look for 55-ddo back then?

Yinzi . . . yes I looked and looked but never had any luck. It and the 22 no D didn't have holes in the old blue Whitman.

Rarest wheat I've found would have to be the 1924-S wheat I found last year from a few loose rolls of pennies. Probably one of my best penny finds so far.
