Hi all. Anyone seen this error coin currently for sale on ebay?
Could it possibly be genuine?
I can't think of any plausible reason for a 20 cent coin to be flipped over and re stamped let alone with a 10 cent coin underneath it.
I'm assuming this is what has happened anyway.
Surely it has to be bogus.
Very interested to hear any thoughts.

Looks like they stacked a 10 cent, 20 cent, & another 20 cent and placed that all in a vice. Looks like PMD to me.

Thanks Fuzzy looks that way to me too. Only thing that I don't understand is why there isn't obvious vice marks considering the impact required to achieve that mess.

They basically had a coin sandwich,10c/20c/20c in the vice. The one listed is the middle one, so you only see impressions.

What you would do is put the on a flat piece of metal and one onto under a press that then puts them like this
