I do intend on getting one of the gold pieces though, just not sure at which denomination. I personally prefer the Koala and Kook designs though. Report this Post to the Staff

Fat Freddy Pillar of the Community United States 1200 Posts	Posted 04/10/2013 2:21 pm I'm not a series-collector but if I was, the 2nd and 3rd series I'd go to work on (following right behind the Silver Britannias) would be the Aussie Roos and the New Zealand Kiwis. The uncluttered simplicity and purity of design of many of the Roo and Kiwi coins are among the most aesthetically accomplished designs I've seen on bullion coins. Report this Post to the Staff

Here's what part of mine looks like: I've picked up a few Kangaroos along the way, but few and far between. I'll get to them one day. . . I have the Kangaroo at Sunset (proof) the nicest of all but it stashed away for now.
