trikdoutcobalt Valued Member Canada 117 Posts	Posted 04/10/2013 9:01 pm I got a 2013 nickel in my change a while ago and am just wondering why the bottom of the 3 is so far below the 2,0, and 1? Looks a little weird to me. When I got a 2013 quarter today the 3 was in line with the rest. Any comments? Report this Post to the Staff

coin_games Valued Member Canada 319 Posts	Posted 04/11/2013 1:25 pm They were supposed to be readily available in the beginning of April, but I was told they won't start appearing now until the end of the month. There have been a select amount of banks that received orders, mostly on the West coast. Check out RBC in the past they were most likely to have the new rolls. Normic67 Pillar of the Community 798 Posts	Posted 04/13/2013 8:39 pm I think its because the easiest number to look at on the date to find out what date it is is the 3. you only have to look at the last number. and if its bigger its easier. I also do not like getting mint boxes from the bank because then all the coins are new and my coin roll hunting night is ruined. Report this Post to the Staff
