rob9099 New Member Sweden 21 Posts	Posted 04/11/2013 10:27 pm Sorry I disagree, all of the rim nicks are fresh, that just seems to unlikely, there are too many lettering errors and the toning on one side of the coin is different than that of the other. Together with the fact that the silver coins that came along with these were not silver strenghtens my belief that these also are fake. rob9099 New Member Sweden 21 Posts	Posted 04/12/2013 11:37 am Maybe I'm being too stubborn here but took a look at all New Brunswick 1843 half penny's currently on ebay with HQ pics and don't see any with so many lettering errors and take a look at the sea line I marked in blue, never seen such a blob before. They look legit and the same as my coin. I found an NB half penny last year and it looks the same as the ones that you claim to be Chinese counterfeits. I agree with everyone else, they are not fake.
