Could this be a silver Denar with Mary and baby Jesus?
Any info is helpful.

This is possibley a coin from one of the Crusader states (Antoch,Jerusilum,Create) or from Bazantum.Another possibility is Eastern Europe such as Hungrey(magar) or Austria.

No, this is definitely a Hungarian denar, of the Madonnenmünze type, from the period after 1526, when the Kingdom of Hungary was held by the Holy Roman Emperors, as can be seen in the legend to the right of the shield: G RO, for (Dei) Gratia Romanorum (Imperator). I think Matthias II perhaps more likely than Ferdinand II, if we could only make out the few characters above the shield.
