Poll Question
A few on the forum have said that when silver gets below $27 they will "back up the truck" and load up on silver.

Silver hasn't been under $26 since November 2010. So, who is putting their money where their mouth is at this weekend's price?

Poll Choices
I'm buying all I can find in stores and online
I'm adding to the pile a bit
I'd like to but am broke from buying at $35
It hurts to sell, but I need the money
I'm selling out, its going down and only going lower!
I'm selling so I can buy more at even LOWER prices!

Sold some of my premium bars at about break even to buy cheap .999 rounds. There are lots of sub $30 rounds on Provident with their free shipping offer that is going on right now.

This is just a small hiccup in the silver market. It will come back higher than ever. Sooner than later.

I am going to a local coin show Sunday. I plan to pickup some albums, but if the supplier is not there, I might pickup some silver.

Have a look at the DJIA for the last six months.
It seems to me that large commercial investors are responding, lessening their exposure to bullion which hedging can provide.

You could well ask yourself: Will the DJIA continue to rise?
For some of the answer to that, have a look at the DJIA for a time which suits your investment horizon.

With Cyprus & China dumping physical gold on the market and driving prices down across the board, I think buying even at these levels should be approached with caution. If These two countries cause a panic sell off, even buying at a 2 year low could be potentially risky. Personally, I am buying items that have a numismatic value such as Morgans and Merc's. I will pull the trigger on some Libertads or a couple of Freedom Girls if the price is right.

I am buying in small quantities if I can something at or near spot. Most of the silver I have bought was purchased when silver was at 26-27 levels, and I comfortable buying small quantities at these levels. In case it crashes below 20, then I will definitely buy much more.

Still praying for that big sub-$20 drop before I shift back to bullion but I'm always searching for deals on world proofs. I love these "shocker" sell-offs because they bring out the worrier-type sellers who fear the sky if falling and must unload before their investment withers and dies. The extra volume typically means better ebay auction deals.

I do too Traevin, it usually makes the old silver coin come out of the wood work and the old large coppers along with them. I just spent the last 3 hours cutting the lawn and as soon as I finish this water and get a shower I am off to town to see what washed up at the pawn shops this past week. Wish me luck.

I'm gonna wait a bit longer and keep an eye on the markups over spot, let the dust settle first.

It's not like I've been waiting to buy any silver. In fact, I've been buying steadily over the last couple of years, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot. And I've bought a decent amount in the last few weeks as prices have been slowly dropping. So, while I'm not "broke from buying at $35", I am at the point where I really feel like I've bought enough for the time being and there's no urgency to buy any more right now. If prices stay low for awhile and premiums drop, however, I'll continue to buy down the road.

Besides, I'm still planning to buy a few of the 2013 American Eagle West Point Two-Coin Silver Sets when they come out as well as the 5-ounce ATB pucks...

I'm just waiting for people on ebay to react to the silver price. Too many sellers are still acting like there's been no movement whatsoever.
