I had heard that Cyprus is dumping gold as well. I just wonder why they wouldn't have had to do that before 'taking' money from depositors! Also, with PMs crashing, not much silver/gold available at my local shop who has always had it avail. Silver has been 3 percent over spot for some time now. Last week 5 percent for dimes and quarters, 10 Percent for halves. Today 15percent over spot for dimes and quarters and NO halves. So although the spot prices is crashing, not much out there near spot.

I have a feeling that many stackers have been sticking with the old standby cost averaging concept and that a lot may have even upped the weekly or monthly
average while silver spot has been dropping for the last couple months. I doubt many stackers will jump from a dead stop straight to Warp 10 just because of
Friday's (admittedly noteworthy) drop.

The price is not going to make me buy more or less, I have a set amount of money to buy 1 ounce coins over the next few years and have a target amount of the amount of ounces I want to buy, a lower price will just get me there a bit quicker.

My LCS was pretty bare on bullion Friday morning. I had to settle for a 1/4 oz. gold eagle and a couple ASE. Silver stays this low for the coming week and I'll be looking for about 30ozs worth of bars and rounds at the lowest available premium.

I'm kind of glad there is no LCS here, because I would go broke...LOL But, I am buying a few ounces here and there, a little at a time where ever I can find them cheap online. now with the lower silver prices, I may buy 1 or 2 extras.. but not diving right in.. Just enjoying collecting what I like..

I wonder what will be available tomorrow with silver mid 24 as I type. My guess is since there was such a quick drop nothing near spot at least until all this settles and buying and selling become stable. Dealers can't buy high and sell lower the next day. They would all go out of business. That's why high premiums. I guess when prices go wild like this, dealers are on pins and needles.

For local stores probably little to nothing unless people are coming in selling and theyre flipping new stuff. You should be able to find stuff online the only question will be if they have live pricing or not

I usually buy locally and I guess I should have mentioned that. I did look at a few online places some had avail 90percent but a large minimum purchase.

Check out provident metals. They have a lot of stuff still in stock. ASEs are like 29, philharmoics maples and the wood bison I think are 28, and Kolas and Brits were around 30. It looks like they still have about half their stuff in stock

If the late great Howard Cosel was alive today he may say something like....

""Down goes silver! Down goes silver!!!"

You did not include my phase of actions - waiting till prices stabilize before purchasing more silver.

It seems like everyone is "scared" about buying silver, which means (ha-ha)that its my time to start seriously stacking versus when everyone else is 100% sure about buying silver, now that is when I lose money.

Remember, when your friends, collegues, neighbors, children jump into silver, this means that theres trouble ahead, this is when you sell, sell, sell.

Silver is at its lowest point in many years that can't be relived. Now is the time to buy, especially with such a drop.

$23.70 right now. I'm waiting for the knife to stop falling before I try to catch it.
