IMHO something is off on the 20 cent. On the obverse, the denticles are very well defined but the center lacks detail. If authentic, the polish job removed the details .
The light playing off the surface of the coin almost makes it look like the coin has luster, that leads me to believe that it has been whizzed. Polishing is random and usually results in a uniformly glossy finish while whizzing mechanically moves the surface metal in a deliberate pattern as an attempt to simulate luster.
Interesting. In your experience, is it comment to use polish during a good whizzing or do they have more success "creating" luster with whizzing alone?
