This bronze token/charm was found mixed in with some generic tokens. It appears bronze and is 18.7mm at the widest spot. My first thought was somewhere near Nepal but I can not find anything. Any ideas would be helpful.

I don't think it's as exotic as Nepal. It reminds me of those Lord of the Rings tokens that were used for conferences and the like - or medieval fair days - that sort of thing.

I looked in "Unusual World Coins" and it is similar to those of the Shire but no match. I do think your suggestion is good for one of the fair or show tokens as a possibility.

Odd that one side seems to echo the English long cross penny, and the other a familiar Chinese symbol (I believe, for the "four blessings").

The age and the look have me wondering if it may be older. I know age can be faked but it just has a look and feel of a higher quality older token.
