The guy saw on E-bay people have it in hand and that it is delayed to August/September and that I said that I will ship it out mid April to late April when I actually said it is suppose be shipped out by the Mint then. This was said in the E-mail from masterclub and on the mint.ca listing. I contacted E-bay to make sure I was in the right which I was. Anyone else having problems? Yeah I have someone upset because its delayed. He/She says that they phones the mint and they said it was not delayed...which is bull...so I sent a e-mail showing the delay on the site....offered a refund but they dont want a refund they want their coin now....i clearly listed on my auction that it might ship april or may but its not up to me its up to the mint when I get it.....its funny because my auction was sold for 300 plus shipping and you can buy them off ebay for cheaper....yet they dont want a refund....we are not doing anything illegal on ebay so idk I guess they will have to wait...may get some negative feedback but whatever...

@Solidifier - The reason I am not offering a refund is because I did not do anything wrong. If I did I would offer it. And he is trying to say stuff that I never said such as I some how promised I would ship it in April. At the time it was suppose to ship in mid/late April. I asked the guy if he leaves negative feedback because it was delayed he said to contact E-bay.

@Solidifier - I believe as long as you specify if there is a delay it is not my responsibility. If they leave negative because there was a delay then then E-bay should edit it or delete it from your feedback. They may also contact the buyer and tell them not to do that.

If you can't get the person the coin within 45 days they can file a claim to get their money back nothing you can about it other than refund it back does not matter what your ad says

Anyone thinking that the Mint is trying to prove a point with the Aug/Sept delay...I mean come on , does it really take that long to produce a few more coins....sounds fishy to me.

No matter what your add says. If they file a claim within 45 days paypal will refund them. PERIOD! Also, have fun trying to have ebay tell your buyers not to leave negative. That will never happen. ebay does not care.

After 45 days there's nothing you can't do except refund his money.

Flippers - caught with their pants down - who'd a thought. Imagine the used car salesmen. "I have this wonderful Porsche coming in - next month. Really. Give me your money now, and I should have it by Mid-month".
The End of the month comes, you're darn right, I'm calling the police because this guy - whether intentional or not is holding my money - and has no product to ship me. No, he didn't lie.... but you certainly wouldn't appreciate this particular sales man - and you'll tell all your friends - not to trust him.
Really? Not leave negative feedback? Come on. Quite whining - cut your loss quick, and make the sale later when you actually have the product in hand. YOUR greed put you in this position. Not the buyers.

Dcadon, your analogy doesn't work. Solidifier has offered to refund the money, but the buyer wants the coin, not the refund.

Also what I was thinking of doing is just waiting a bit...than trying to buy one for cheaper (maybe 235) of ebay or where ever and then just sending that one....would still make some money....thats why I think its strange they didnt want the refund because they are cheaper now than when I sold mine in the hot market right after it sold out...
