I'm thinking XF45 details, cleaned.
Any thoughts?

is that pitting or just damage on the obverse?

I'm not sure its much more than a genuine coin

AU details sounds right there is still a lot of detail, not much wear, just a light rub, the pits or "shotgun blast" would be most likely from corossion from being a dug coin, or just had some acid splashed on it some time ago. It was defintely cleaned up at one point. Could also have been in a gravel street and driven over, the reverse rim shows some rough spots like the front as well.
