Picture one looks like corrosion
Picture two looks like a Lamination peel
Picture three looks like a Cud with corrosion on the sides Hummm!
I guess that doesn't really answer your question.

It's a retained lamination flaw; you can see this type of error on just about all dates of the small KGV penny series. Nice find!
