Does anyone know any sites that sell air tight coin tubes in the UK. Google search always seems to bring up US sites or US sellers on ebay.

Hi

Re coin tubes I've been selling coin supplies for over 10 years and never been asked for coin tubes as the type you see on USA web sites.

My wholesale supplier in UK does not do coin tubes and the only place I know as you've found yourself is either ebay or a supplier in USA.

I dont think that over in UK we collect like the the coin collectors in USA such as stacking coins etc. in tubes.

yours

michael

Yeah I'm kinda surprised, guess there really aren't many 'stackers' in the UK, or at least not yet

One of the best US sources is http://www.jpscorner.com ... I don't know if they ship internationally but they're my best suggestion. Good luck with your hunt.

The two places you might have the best luck would be UK Amazon and ebay

Couldn't find anything on UK Amazin and ebay yields US results, I might try just buying from US though.

Speaking of coin tubes, what's people's preference?. The single seal squares, double seal squares, or the round screw cap tubes?

I like the round better personally since thats the shape of the coins. The squares are better though for stacking on each other

The square tubes cost more, are more durable, work better in storage boxes and I think they seal out the atmosphere better. The round ones can crack if you
drop a full one on a hard surface but they're 3 for $1 @ the LCS, which is hard to argue with. I like the square ones. I think they're better for long-term storage.
