ram96 Valued Member United States 417 Posts	Posted 04/29/2013 3:09 pm Went to one of my favorite banks today and the teller handed me a Silver colored Rutherford Hayes Dollar Coin with a P mint mark. It weighs 8.0 grams. If it is Silver plated would it not weigh more? Looking for what it may be. Thank You Report this Post to the Staff

The other day I found a gold colored Sacajewea and when I checked it at a lcs was told that it was proof coin. I just don't remember such a gold colored coin from that period. Still not worth anything over face value due to the extremely small amount of platinum, but this site sells a set of 16 of them for "only $179.95!"
