Very nice! I'm fortunate to have one and have often wondered which patriots may have traveled with this coin.

Fun. This is among my favorite of the Colonials because of all the stories they tell. I actually much prefer lower grade coins to the MS ones - those just sat in barrels! If I want to inspire a youngster, I give them one of these when they're studying the Revolution in school. Great coin.

I definitely have the same motivation for collecting as described by cipster and Scropper. The favorite in my collection is a lower-grade 1798 cent. How many hands did that pass through? How long was it in circulation? What goods did it purchase? Old coins are great links to the past!
