Launch #6 is scheduled as follows: Elite MC Release Tuesday 5/28 MC Release Wednesday 5/29 Public release Tuesday6/4. There are a couple of items that will be part of the 60 item RCM sellout objective for 2013 |

Ugh....stop the insanity!
I only ordered 2 silver eagles this release and I'm still feeling like this is too much.
When I read in their report that they'll be listing over 200 new items this year I really started to think they're about to make this hobby/addiction "jump the shark".
They listed 136 last year and that was a record.
Over saturation is really going to be evident over the next few months.

 Too much is too much. Only ordered eagles as well and that was plenty. @mltung, appreciate the information though. Do you have anything more on the 1912-1914 gold coin delays? I understand there is an 'issue' that was to be reviewed this week. |

with so much coins being release and the frequency of the rleases, I think it is more important now to buy coins you like and stay away from the ones you don't like. It's the only way the mint can understand and see that they are pushing too much stuffs out.

You got one of the 3 sell out items this time around. One out of three ain't bad.
As I mentioned before in another post, 1914 $5 Au Hand Select is oversold.
There is a high chance of cancellation.
Now the task at hand for us is to forecast the sell-out items for Launch #6.

So the review was really damage control strategy? Monday will be a interest day to raise bloody hell.

To jump back to the May release (there have been about 3 or 4 different dates posted), based on the Tuesday / Wednesday release for Elite MC / MC members and a public release for the following Tuesday, I'm assuming that the public release for May will be May 7th? As a "lowly" non-MC member, just trying to understand when I'll have a crack at the leftovers!  |

5/7 will be the public release date for May.
6/4 will be the public release date for June.
The RCMint Objective for sell out is 60 items for 2013 However, they need to outperform the objectives so that they can get a bigger bonus, so let us assume that they will try to sell out 72 items (i.e. 6 items per launch based on a 12 launch per year schedule).
I would say that out of these 6 items per launch, 3 will sell out almost immediately. Remember another objective of the RCMint is to support the secondary market (Does that mean the flippers?)

Do not underestimate what a Crown Corporation like the RCMint can do.
They have already sold out (Awaiting stock) three items for the May Release
o Bald Eagle
o Platinum $300 Shannon
o Silver Kilo Maple leaf
The Gold Blessings will be the next one to go.

<<< been plenty squeaky already and it's gotten me nowhere. My rep says he's in there pushing but we'll see. All I can say is, if they cancel my order, it will be a great excuse to stop throwing money at them hand over fist.  I wonder how many orders are unfilled (and pending cancellation) at this point for 1914 $5 au. Supporting the secondary market is more about dealers than flippers. Despite what they may think, flippers still are only a small percentage of RCM sales. |

Apparently. mltung mentioned it in the other thread ( https://goccf.com/t/134544&whichpage=156#1346952 ) a week or so ago but no one really jumped on it. I followed up with my rep again this week. Up till now, I've been told it's coming the next few weeks, there's an issue with the packaging, cheques in the mail, etc etc. Now I hear they are trying to figure out how to handle the 'issue'. Just really curious who else is waiting (ie how many are in the same boat). It's unfathomable and unforgivable that the mint sold these things in Feb and delivered them to those customers but forgot about some of us who ordered last year.  Edited by CC-Ottawa
