Two Gold Maple Leaf Coins Stuck Together. Advice?

Hi,

I received some new gold maple leaf coins in a mint tube (from a reputable dealer) and two of the coins are stuck together. I haven't been able to get them apart by hand. Before I take a hammer and chisel to them, I thought I'd see if anybody has better advice. Here are a couple pictures of the pair:

Try and twist them like an Oreo cookie....LOL

Putting them in hot/warm water or sticking them on the freezer might to the trick.

If that hot water doesn't work, and you think it might be an adhesive, then try acetone.

Tried the hot water suggestion. Heated a little beaker full of water, dropped them in, and they instantly separated. Thanks!
