This is a coin bought in the late 1980's at the Abu Ahmed Antique store in Bahrain. It looks like a bobby pin. I haven't really seen anything like it and I wonder if anyone has any idea of its value. Please let me know. Thanks!

That's a start. I would say that most likely this "larin" is from the Arabian peninsula and not Persian.

I saw this on ebay. They look very similar. In fact mine are in much better shape.

OK I am pretty sure they are El-Hasa Tawilah from the Arabian Peninsula. Now I wonder what they are worth. Any ideas?
