Will Banks In Northern Ireland Exchange My 5 Pound Coins?

Im thinking of exchanging my 5 pound coins ,but I'm not sure if banks in Northern Ireland allow this?

Why not stick around here a bit longer and offer them for sale here?

This option would allow the £5 coins go to someone who wants them.

I sell coins at my local bootsale and I tell the buyers they are 6 pound each and they look at me as if I I have 4eyes.
Maybe I will do that ken, good idea!7

I wonder why they would do that. Which ones are you are looking to get rid of?

I remember they used to "sell" crowns at face value - or thereabouts. There was a series that came out in the 80's in copper-nickle (mostly quite unattractive ) but as I recall the Northern bank, the Bank or Ireland and the Ulster bank all has either plastic slide cases or plastic flip folders to hold the things. Possibly the TSB did as well. Those (plastic) cases are arguably worth as much as the crowns in them.
