I posted something about this coin a couple of years back but no one was able to comment. With the recent string on the apparent breast cancer test strike I thought I would try again.

Here is a a test token that does not match the Charlton catalogue. The fact it has 12 sides, is non-magnetic and weighs 2.44g would peg it to somewhere around 1981. The coin is bilingual. However, the beading is further off the rim than shown in the catalogue photograph of TT1.11c.

ICCS would not slab it as it was uncatalogued, though they did keep a photo record of it for future reference.

Any thoughts?

Bring it along to Coin Expo... would love to see it.

Really interesting piece..

In the top pic at 11 & 12 & 1 o'clock it seems that the corners are missing a bit.

Following the beads around shows that it's a bit off-center in the strike...to me that is....

Devlec, I think what you are seeing is an optical illusion caused by the plastic. I should have taken it out to photograph it. It is a normally struck coin. At first glance it looks like 11.C (which is what I thought it was when I bought it), but the weight is a little off and the beads are wrong.
