Yes...but there half an year passed since the coin appeared first on some dealers websites.

I also think, that it just was the issue with the timing...

It does not seem a good timing. Chinese New Year's day is on 1/31. I doubt Mint can deliver the coins by then. It's good people usually give the gift after the chinese new year's day, unlike the Christmas gifts, but the gifting usually happens within 10 days after the new year's day.

The coin is up now. From the specs: "Your coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded maroon clamshell case lined with black flock and protected by a black sleeve." This sounds like the typical presentation of most NCLT coins, however the picture shows (in my opinion) a better looking silver coloured box with red sleeve. It's supposed to ship Jan 14, so we'll see if they keep their word. After all, this coin leaked many months ago, and I'd assume they've had enough time since it first leaked to finish minting all their coins.

I have the coin in hand. It looks fantastic. I'm also thinking of buying the version from CP just so that I'll have a stamp and coin set as well.

How did you get it so fast? I don't think the Mint has started shipping them out yet.
