I would appreciate any opinion as to the grading of this 1997-d LMC. If the color looks off, it is supposed to and I have included a comparison photo with a normal-colored penny. Interestingly, when photographed separately my camera made it look reddish, but I assure you the top photo is more representative of its true color. Thanks for your help.

That's a fairly common error for the issue. I've found a few myself. Looks like a 65 red to me, some weakness in strike. Notice the flatness in the hair....typical and often mistaken for wear.

I have a few also. Going through box after box you come across some interesting coins. I agree with Bad on the grade, it's a beauty.
