There appears to be a die chip on top of the RPM on this coin. I was wondering if anyone has seen a die chip on top of the mint mark like in the pictures? Thanks.

It is 1954S-1MM-004. The dies for the 50's were over used past normal retirement. Kind of like you have 200,000 miles on your car and you run it another 200,000 miles. There is bound to be trouble when you try that.
