It might even be a market acceptable 62. My only real concern would be if those dark spots are carbon. Those luster patches are a definite oddity. Report this Post to the Staff
nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 05/14/2007 8:07 pm I think based on the Picks its an AU50 not quite enough details left on the arrows, the Ding on the 2 and the lack of sharpness on the ribbon would all stop me from going higher. No doubt it would easily pass the PCGS AU55. tests.... As for variety the D is missing the upper Serif not able to see any doubling on the date but it may be there. the most likely candidate from what I can see without a scope is KF-18-RPD or Breen 2382. Would need to look through a microscope to be sure... Report this Post to the Staff

nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 05/14/2007 8:58 pm yep KF-18-RPD or Breen 2382. this is a common variety but yours is nice in that the dies have almost 'died' no pun intended. the cracks have progressed well beyond those listed in the diagnostics. Its a Keeper. I would have had no problem paying around $80 for this example. Even with the carbon spots. Report this Post to the Staff
