Currently I have most of my coins in 2x2 cardboard coin flips and then placed in individual slits in those 8 1/2 x 11 coin binder pages. Some are stapled but others are not.

With this said I wanted to change from the 2x2 cardboard coin flips to the following flips.

(Link Fixed Thanks)

I wanted to have a way that I can remove my coins to look at and admire them without the chance of scratching the surfaces of the coins. Especially my DCAM proofs I have.

Can anyone tell me if these are perfect for occasional removal and storage of course without scratching. Let me add of course I would use cotton gloves while handling the coins.

Thank you for all comments in advance.
John

First of all your coins especially the smaller coins like the dimes and cents will slide around in these flips. I personally would not use them for anything AU or better or anything real valuable. I would go with air-tite directs or a good 2x2 solid insert for my better stuff. You can always open the inserts to look at your coins when needed that way. These flips also come in a smaller size for smaller coins. Usually these flips are not recommended for long term storage mainly because of the movement of the coins and they are not air tight to keep out corrosion and since you mentioned DCAMS I would definitely stay away from them. One scratch or rub and there goes your DCAM.

Just my opinions
