Strike looks weak, and I'm seeing very little wear. AU55 for me.

Well I thought about it and I thought around ms62 because it is weakly struck although if you put that aside Au55 seems reasonable. Nice coin by the way

After looking at this one again, I'm still at unc but something is off with the color, the strike is weak, but shouldn't affect the grade any. Cleaned re-colored maybe?

I own a lot, maybe not as much as prethren, but I have a couple double row boxes of them now. I used to buy out inventories in the late 1990's at dealer tables at the Long Beach show. Got a lot of low grade to low end uncs that way cheap. I would only give a cursory look at the grade and then count them out - ie: 5-VGs, 4 VFs, 3 EF, an AU and buy them for in a lot. I got a lot of cool Cuds and RPDs that way. Back then 2¢ pieces were dirt cheap, $8-12 would buy a VF quite often. Love this series, and it's one that an average collector can complete minus proofs fairly easily and affordably.
