Aw, I misread the title and thought we would be talking about the pattern pieces that have a IHC obverse and a flying eagle reverse (the reverse of a flying eagle, not the eagle misplaced on the reverse as this does).
Give him credit, he made it plain through the images what the coin is. And I think it's not only contemporary, but carries some small additional value as a result.

My guess is at some point in the first 40 years after mintage, most likely 10-20 years after to circulate in the possession of charlatans in the postwar period.
Cool coin. I've seen a lot of these with IHC and Lincoln obverses, but not an FEC and IHC. Odds are, it was made for magic trick kits sold to kids way back in the day.
