Looks like a MS66 to me as well. If it's in an older small ANACS holder maybe 64 or 65 in a NGC holder MS66.

It's in a small, original ANA holder....love these little holders. I think it has a shot at MS66 in hand.

Thanks the white plastic could have gone either way! Only TPG listed in the title and not a specific company, they did grade quite differently for a time in their infancies. thought it looked more ANACS white. than NGC white (okay now that's taking coin geekness to a whole other level.

That one half sure looks nice only thing that may hold it back is the discoloration spots at 8:00-9:00 obverse and area at 1:00 on reverse, and that it's not a super strong strike, note the lack of thumb depth on liberty and the not so struck up feathers on the eagle's breast and neck area. Still if the luster is there 66 is not out of line IMO.

I would say 65 as well, I think the strike holds it back.
